Josephine’s Feast Heirloom Apple Butter Kissed with the Spices of Love is a perfect Valentine’s Day treat.  Made from apples grown on a century old apple tree bathed in the sun and fog off Shinnecock Bay on Long Island in New York this preserve is inspired by the temptation of Eve and Cupid’s kiss.  The flavors of aphrodesiac spices – the delight of vanilla with a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and a secret or two warm the heart as well as the lips.

Try this apple butter in steel cut oat meal or on buckwheat pan cakes.  It is a perfect condiment along side baby lamb chops or roasted pork. It is perfect on buttered toast for breakfast or as an afternoon snack.
